Christopher Reeve Foundation

Last week, Leeds MBAs Elizabeth DiLorenzo, Jennifer Lee and I attended a fundraiser for the Christopher Reeve Foundation. The event was hosted at the Jet Hotel in Denver, CO and included an appetizer competition amongst four of the hottest new chefs in the Denver area. Bravo's TOP CHEF New York contestant Melissa Harrison (current sous chef at the Happy Noodle House in Boulder), Denver Avalanche Defenseman John-Michael Liles and Denver Magazine Food Columnist Stacey Brugeman judged the small plate creations.

Also in attendance was Matt Updike, US Paralympic athlete who will be competing in Sadler's Alaska Challenge, the world's longest and most difficult handcycle race. To learn more visit: www.sadlersakchallenge.org
